Products

  • We specialize in live plant products (dahlia tubers)
  • Each tuber is carefully inspected to ensure it has a minimum of one viable eye, intact neck, and crown
  • Due to the nature of live plants:
    • Growth, performance, and blooms are not guaranteed
    • Variations in color, size, and form may occur
    • Cultivars may perform differently depending on climate, soil, and growing conditions
    • We do not guarantee that a variety will look or perform the same in your environment as it does in ours
  • Product photos are representative and may vary

Virus Disclaimer

  • Dahlias can naturally carry viruses such as Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV), Tobacco Streak Virus (TSV), and Dahlia Mosaic Virus (DMV)
  • While we follow strict sanitation practices:
    • Disinfecting tools between cuts
    • Routine visual inspections
    • Select testing using Agdia test strips
  • We do not guarantee our stock to be virus-free
  • By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risk of virus presence in dahlias

Orders

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability
  • We reserve the right to cancel or limit orders at any time
  • Orders cannot be canceled once placed

Limited Quantities

  • We are a small, boutique grower
  • Many varieties are grown in very limited quantities (often 1–3 plants per variety)
  • Items may sell out quickly and are not guaranteed to restock

Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are subject to change at any time without notice
  • The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed
  • Once an order is submitted, the price for that order will not be changed
  • We do not offer price adjustments for prior or future promotions
  • You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information
  • Orders are processed once payment is received

Shipping

  • Orders will ship within the timeframe stated on our website
  • Shipping dates are estimates, not guarantees
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or weather
  • Once your order is handed to the carrier, risk transfers to you

Returns, Claims & Final Sale

  • All sales are final due to the perishable nature of our products
  • If there is an issue with your order:
    • You must contact us through our website contact form
    • Include your order number and photos (if applicable)
    • Claims must be submitted within 72 hours of delivery
  • We are unable to review or honor claims submitted after 72 hours

Live Plant Disclaimer

  • Dahlia tubers are perishable, living products
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Weather damage (heat, cold, frost)
    • Improper storage, planting, or care
    • Pest or disease issues after delivery

No Warranty

All products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including guarantees of growth or flowering.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alex Flower Farm is not liable for:

  • Plant performance or failure
  • Shipping delays or damage
  • Any indirect or consequential losses
